Review of The Help (2011) by Mo P — 30 Nov 2012
This is one of the rare times when I like the movie better than the book. The overuse of dialect in the novel for the black characters comes to life on screen thanks to the ensemble cast. Visually the film is very arresting and the heart of the movie is Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer with a close third going to Jessica Chastain.
