Review of The Hawks and the Sparrows (1966) by Jack G — 18 Jan 2008
Probably the funniest Italian satire you've never seen. Pasolini at his most irreverent (talking ravens; monks who chirp like birds in teaching God; best birth scene since Apocalypto); it's so consistently wacky, even noting that the raven in a title card is a "left-wing intellectual"!
