Review of The Hawk Is Dying (2007) by Franz P — 30 May 2007
I know a lot of people will not like this movie because the story is slow and some may even say that nothing happened. With that said, I don't think it's a bad movie. There may be a lot of symbolisms, and I admit that I don't understand most of them, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what the filmmakers tried to accomplish.
If you're into indie experimental films and you like to see movies with organic feel to them, go ahead and see this. Paul Giamatti is great as a complex character (as usual).
