Review of The Haunting (1963) by Mark D — 16 Apr 2010
This story of the typical 'old dark house' is filled with nice visual flourishes and some rather blatant lesbian undertones, which I found kind of amusing considering the time period. The only thing that detracted a bit from my enjoyment was the voice-over from the clingy, needier of the two leads, and while I understand its purpose I still found it a bit distracting.
Well worth a rental.
