Unfortunately quite dated. Some old movies can be scary as hell... but this wasn't really all that spooky. Scariest moments 1. The house keeper telling Elanor she doesn't stay in the house after dark then gives a big wicked smile and 2.
The bulging door which has been copied many times since. The ham acting killed it for me.
