Review of The Haunting (1963) by Alex A — 13 Jul 2013
It's not the classic that many people have professed it to be, but Robert Wise's psychological horror film is still a well shot, atmospheric film that benefits from a strong cast of capable actors.
While the film boasts some great ideas and a few really good scene's, it still suffers from poor pacing which makes the film more than a little uneven. Although it hasn't held up well with age, it's still an impressive technical achievement worth seeing for fans of psychological horror.
