Review of The Haunting (1963) by Ken S — 19 Oct 2014
Robert Wise directs this 1963 horror film that holds up well due to it's creepy cinematography, great sound design, and genuinely unsettling atmosphere. It is up there with the best haunted house films, not quite as entertaining as my personal favorite, "Poltergeist", but pretty damn good nonetheless.
The film is filled with creepy moments and has a deliberate pace that just works from beginning to end. Definitely recommended.
