Review of The Haunting (1963) by Will E — 14 Apr 2011
An excellent horror film; it was far ahead of its time. Wise's amazing blockage of scenes and the beautiful cinematography make "The Haunting" a must see for classic horror aficionados. One of my favorite traits of this film is tits "mental horror" that is far more terrifying than any amount of gore.
This film should be next in line for a blu ray digital restoration though, the DVD print doesn't do the film justice.
