Review of The Hateful Eight (2015) by Shauna C — 03 Apr 2016
Quentin Tarantino's eighth film is his worst of the bunch. It's apparently an excuse for him to use as much blood and poor acting as possible. I know it's "his style", but it gets in the way of this movie turning into anything.
It ended up being a movie that I thought about stopping after the first hour, after the second hour and, at the end, regretted that I had wasted my time and Tarantino had wasted an opportunity for a good movie.
Lots of mis-casts in the film -- Goggins and Tatum are downright bad, and their accents are annoying and confusing.
