Review of The Hateful Eight (2015) by Daniel Y — 10 Jun 2016
The Hateful Eight is Tarantino's 8th film and i'm sure it's no coincidence that it has "eight" in it's title, and, in my opinion, it's pretty good. The characters are memorable, the music, and the scenes, especially the cinematography, are all memorable and so are most lines/monologues (one in particular from Samuel L.
Jackson), as in all of Tarantino's films. The only problem that I have about the movie is it's narration more specifically when we get to the chapter of Domergues Got a Secret, I feel that he could've shown/expressed the meaning of the title of the chapter , because it flow as smoothly as in some of Tarantino's previous works.
But, besides that, The Hateful Eight is a pretty good Tarantino film, not his best by all means, but is definately recommended.
