If you went into this movie expecting award winning performances then you set yourself, and the movie, up for failure. Just chill out and enjoy the fun. It's an adult rated movie with puppets for Pete's sake! It's ridiculous and absurd and that's exactly the point!
Professional movie critics had this movie beaten down so low that I was expecting I'd walk out disappointed. It's not the best movie of the year but I thank the critics for being SO WRONG on their assessment that it made the movie better for me!
Solid movie in its own right and and can hold its own. Also it looks like it was a lot of fun to make. Congrats to everyone working on this movie for trying something fresh and not watering down theatres with another remake...blah!
