If you like horror movies with heavy suspense and creepy stuff with zero gore, The Hallow is the movie for you. I loved the use of Irish folklore and the appearance of Michael McElhatton (Roose Bolton) was really nice.
Although the story builds up slowly, but when it reaches the climax you are glued to the ground and chilled by the scares that are not cheap and there is no cheesy jump scare. It's hard to make a decent horror movie these days but Corin Hardy did a great job.
