Review of The Guest (2014) by Sean D — 04 Aug 2015

Its a mixed bag. Its cool/ cold as hell in so many places. But as it approaches the end you're left with a thousand Why, Why, Why would he do that? That really rubs a lot of this movies shine off. Otherwise I would probably give it 4.5 to 5 stars.

Its way different than what I thought it would be when it was advertised. (Spoiler Alert maybe) A young soldier shows up at the home of a deceased army buddy who had died, claiming he was there to help look after them as a promise to his fallen comrade. He does lots of cool stuff for the family but a few things that make one of them suspicious of his true identity. It turns out the visitor is very much wanted by the military but he will not be apprehended no matter what the cost.
