Review of The Guest (2014) by Taufik A — 07 Jan 2015
Right from the start, Wingard crafts an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout as David charms his way into the Petersen household. Although there is something unsettling about David, the audience can't help but get sucked in by his charisma and a cool confidence that is chilling at times.
A few more details about the program he was a part of and Caleb's involvement would've answered some lingering questions, but those issues are minor. For what it is, The Guest delivers with great performances and solid writing.
