The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society tackles on a sensitive subject op WWII culture, which it likes to cover up with feelgood conversations about books. Its rather whimsical, but its the romantic side of this movie that completely backfires, by just shoehorning in a forgettable happy ending for two people that felt predictable and really forced.
