Review of The Grudge 3 (2009) by Qt C — 27 Feb 2011
The 3rd installment in the US Grudge remake isn't too bad considering it went direct to video. If you've seen as many horrible DTV movies as I have, you'll immediately notice that The Grudge 3 is one of the better ones in terms of production values, actors, quality etc.
The acting is solid from the cast. The script is pretty good, and I loved the introduction of Kayako's sister and the twist of events at the end. This is a great entry to The Grudge franchise and it's one of the best DTV movies you can ask for.
This movie could have easily have had poor production values and it could have been horrible, but I actually enjoyed it for what it was. Solid cast, great directing, nice death scenes and it's a good continuation to the storyline.
