Review of The Grudge 3 (2009) by Cassie F — 19 Oct 2013
The time to start questioning other people's judgement and advice is prior to the demons, not after they have proven to be telling the truth about said demons. "No! I will not trust that drink even though you have been right about everything else." "And when you leave the room with my possessed brother chasing you, the logical thing is to stay in the room and cry." Who ever thought about helping out or, at the very least, running away!?
I can't say that I am the best person to rate "horrors". I tend not to like them because all logic of normal human patterns goes out the window. How many of us would notice a girl running up the stairs above us and think, "Hey, I'm going to follow her... up the stairs... into the dark room... with no attempt to turn the lights on." Admit it, 99% of us (sober) would see it, think, "Huh," then continue to go outside.
With that being said, if you like "horrors" take my movie review with a grain of salt. Logic aside, I did not find the evil spirits frightening or impending. Maybe it was too predictable for me.
