Generic and uninspired, The Grudge 3 is a vapid and pointless horror film. The story follows the evil spirit of Kayako as it attempts to renew the curse in a Chicago apartment complex after having been brought there by a former curse victim.
It's a completely ridiculous plot that doesn't make much sense. The acting is particularly bad, but not as awful as the makeup and special effects; which are the worst of the entire series. The Grudge 3 is an insultingly atrocious film that's all tropes and no substance.
