Although there are many strong actors in this film that bring solid performances, it is outbalanced by the several problems with the story. There were poor choices made including songs that probably would feel grander if they weren't standing out as modern pieces in a film taking place in the past.

I could never tell you how accurate the story is to capturing P.T. Barnum's life, but I could tell you this movie is a little worse than okay and don't expect too much.
