Imagine me sitting there, watching the Great Escape for the first time. About every 10 minutes, I kept thinking to myself "I wish it would (insert plot element here)", and sure enough, it would do it.
While the Great Escape may be too long, it's such a brilliant film. It's incredibly acted, the story is superbly told, the music is brilliant, all around a great film. To call it good doesn't do it justice.
To call it brilliant doesn't to it justice. To call it incredible doesn't do it justice, it's one of the best films ever made. Everything the film does is good, and the more I tell you what's right about it, the more I ruin it for you.
Just watch the film if you haven't, it's amazing, it's... it's... it's... JUST SEE IT!!
