I really can't praise this film enough. It's truly one of the best of all time. The performances from Fonda, Darwell and the direction from Ford are all brilliant. The film is so well shot, and the script is amazing.
I think I cried four times. Darwell and Ford were definitely deservant of their wins. It should have beat out Rebecca for best picture, though that is a great movie too, though.
