What a mess them 45's make.

Adapted from John Steinbeck's controversial novel, John Ford's Grapes of Wrath erases away much of the controversy of the novel in favor of good ol fashion movie magic.

I loved the book when I read it in school, and so only a major mess up with the film adaptation would make me not like it too, but John Ford's talents shine in Grapes of Wrath. Most movies i'v seen from this time use indoor sets and props, Ford shoots the majority of the film outdoors, and he takes good advantage of mother nature. The film is gorgeous cinematography wise.

Script wise, the film holds your attention with great dialogue and even better quotes, that range from heartfelt to plain badass. Even if your favorite line from the novel isn't in the movie (like mine) your bound to find at least one you like.

I loved The grapes of Wrath novel, and so should you, I loved the Grapes of Wrath movie, and so should you.
