Review of The Graduate (1967) by Michael S — 29 Jun 2011
A very humorous and very true film about a graduate (Ben) who is seemingly lost in the world and the crazy antics he gets into, starting with an affair with Mrs. Robinson and ending with his love for her daughter, Elaine.
It does feel like two different movies though halfway through where it shifts away from his affair with Mrs. Robinson to his relationship with Elaine (in which the two are the only main characters around for a large amount of time during the latter half) and there it loses some steam, but gets it all right back for one of the best endings in film.
