Review of The Goodbye Girl (1977) by Annaliza C — 14 Apr 2008
I can see why this is considered a classic. Dreyfus is very convincing as Quinn Cummings as the young Lucy. Also a very good script that had me chuckling along.
The flaws of the film are that at times this film is very theatrical and you can see more stage than film. Also Marsha Mason simply did not do it for me ad I found her more annoying than connected to the audience.
Still very enjoyable.
