Review of The Goodbye Girl (1977) by Ben B — 27 May 2010
Dreyfuss seemed to be born for the role, his delivery of Simon's dialogue is on par with Lemon and Matthau. However, film does wade in the schmaltz swamp for a lot longer than is necessary and the duration is way too long for what it accomplishes.
