Perhaps one of the most suitably named films ever made, The Good The Bad and The Ugly is precisely that: a spaghetti Western that feels at times breathtaking and hauntingly atmospheric, and other times is rather cheesy and filled with unnecessary flab.
The film's excess is matched by its sheer ambition, and is still worth watching solely for that reason.
