Jennifer Aniston gives her first (and that I've seen so far, only) good dramatic performance in a weird indie hybrid of "Office Space" and "Madame Bovary". John C. Reilly and Jake Gyllenhaal (swinging at a fastball down the middle, granted) are also quite good.
