Jennifer Aniston has never been as good an actor as she was in The Good Girl. This is one of those films that really surpasses all expectations. Jake Gyllenhall share's a good chemistry with Aniston and it is the central relationship that makes this such a good film.
It just goes to show what an actress such as Aniston can do when she exerts herself.
