Review of The Good German (2006) by Bojana D — 17 Feb 2008
Shot in an old 40s style to give it a more authentic feel. Set in post war Berlin during the Potsdam treaty. There is a lot of historical footage used in this film which works well with the story, however it seems Soderbergh couldn't decide between a film noire or a documentary.
I think the story line should have been stronger as the performances were strong. It's one to watch on a Sunday afternoon..
