Review of The Good German (2006) by Matt M — 22 Mar 2013
Based in post World War II Berlin, an American military journalist is drawn into a murder case involving his former mistress and his driver. Though he means well, Soderbergh misses the point and charm of the film noir style he attempts to re-create.
All The Good German ends up being is a nice but empty package.
