Beautifully shot, loved the mix with the original footage of post-war Berlin. Got a bit bored that Clooney was constantly beaten (found that a bit too repetitive), Maguire was annoying and Blanchett's accent bewildering.
As for the motives in the plot - I didn't really get why Blanchett had to leave Berlin but then again I think whoever wrote the script wanted a Casablanca-styled ending (although much better executed in the original).
