Review of The Good German (2006) by Jsh S — 26 Aug 2009
There is a reason films are no longer made with intrusive 'old' soundtracks and black and white footage. This film is just tedious. The questions the film attempts to pose only become obvious once Clooney or Blanchett is spelling out the answer.
Clooney's acting is exposed throughout. The only redeeming feature is Blanchett you plays her multi-layered character convincingly. But it doesn't make the film worth watching.
