Review of The Gold Rush (1925) by Anna B — 20 Jan 2011
Pretty hilarious, although the narrative is a bit disjointed, and the serious sections (especially the violence) don't sit well. Also, the '42 restoration has a terribly overwrought narration and score by Chaplin himself.
I would have preferred to see the original.
