Review of The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) by Erika S — 27 Nov 2007
One of the most hilarious movies I have seen; from beginning to end. However it brings out few interesting & deep rooted things to think over.
In the first scene the movie contrasts the life in Kalahari to that of city just 600 miles from it; something that makes one feel 'Is life really need to be so complicated?' And then there is a bigger issue raised about ownership of a shared resource; 'Life is smooth as long as you don't go after a thing that is limited and everyone else wants it'.
