Review of The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) by Kevin E — 25 May 2017

One of the most delightful and enjoyable movies I've ever seen, this is a movie that can be enjoyed by ust about everyone and by people of all ages. It's one of those movies that covers multiple bases and multiple categories - part drama, part comedy, part action movie, part wildlife film, etc.

Even when I first saw it way back in the early 80s it already had a certain "dated/retro" and "low budget" feel to it that only added to the film's charm. Full of incrediblely endearing characters, Marius Weyers and Louw Verwey stand out in particular.

Weyers proves to have a real talent for physical comedy and many of his scenes will have you laughing so hard you'll be gasping for air.
