Review of The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) by Jake S — 18 Jun 2014
A charming slapstick comedy that was completely achieved by a small South African director & he truly pulled off something great.
Basically a coke bottle falls from the sky & lands near a completely isolated tribe who begin to love it & worship it but then realise it is affecting them & they want to get rid of it.
Ni!ux who played the tribal leader was delightful in his role & the other situations he found himself in was hilarious. This is a very clever film that has a lot going for it...a genuine laugh...
