Review of The Girl Next Door (2004) by Rob C — 22 Nov 2011
The film that made me a fanboy of Elisha Cuthbert. The Girl Next Door is rather simplistic in it's delivery giving us, well ya' know, me a chance to gawk at Elisha. Anyway, we have a nice little tale that begins something like this: Girl gets away from the porn industry and tries to start anew, but then meets a boy who falls in love with her.
She then gains an interest in him because he looks at her differently, which is because he doesn't know about her past. An old boyfriend comes back, the friend of the boy finds out about her---not in that order---she then runs off with the boyfriend because she realises that's where she belongs and then the boy follows to try and knock some sense into her.
An easy ending to predict, everyone lives happily ever after and we get an updated sex-ed video. Oh, and a chance to look at Elisha Cuthbert with her mesmerizing gaze and, yeah, that's it.
