Review of The Gift (2015) by Joellemm — 25 Jul 2016
Great pacing, well written, tense. The seemingly obvious foreshadowing, manages to not override the later stages of the film, where the plot's unpredictability ensures the tension remains. The main characters themselves are so well developed and in tune with the plot, that the plausibility of events are never brought into question.
Difficult for me to find faults; I am ashamed. Well done Joel Edgerton.
