Review of The Gift (2015) by Yash B — 18 Mar 2018

For a thriller "The Gift" didn't muster up much excitement for me, until the final moments. I think the movie showed some good performances, a somewhat interesting story, and a somewhat tense atmosphere.

I just felt so bored by a majority of it. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen and by the time something did, it felt almost too late. I think there are definitely superior psychological thrillers out there.

This one is decent for a one time watch, but nothing about it particularly stood out to me. I definitely feel it is a fairly overrated movie overall.
