An extremely well-executed thrill ride. Joel Egerton does a fantastic job writing, directing, and starring in the film, conveying a wide range of emotions. Jason Bateman also gives a great performance as the menacing, lying, manipulative Simon.
And Rebecca Hall turns in a troubled, vulnerable performance. "The Gift" is filled with exciting, unexpected twists and turns, and is an all-around great movie.
