Review of The Gift (2015) by Afm185 — 21 Jun 2020

This is a really smart movie. It’s damn good, it’s really uncomfortable, and there’s not much you can say without spoiling it. The characters are really interesting, but that’s all I can really say about that.

There are a bunch of layers to this, so many expectations you have that may or may not come to fruition and so its unpredictability is one of its greatest assets. I don’t know how much I really enjoyed it, but it’s really engaging and it’s interesting to think about.
