Review of The Giant Behemoth (1959) by Gerry — 13 Jul 2008
Not Euegne Lourie's greatest, but it's still one of the first dinosaur flix I went nuts over. Excellent Willis O'Brien effects, nasty makeup work on victims of the critters' elctro-nuke zaps, and interestinfg casting.
Whoulda thunk that 10 years after being a marine biologist here, Gene Evans would be one of Walter Brennan's dimwit sons in SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERIFF? Gotta love it!
