Peckinpahs finest hour, with an excellent soundtrack by Quincy Jones. Mc Queen and Mac Graw's on screen chemistry is one of the best I've seen.(Possibly due to there off screen affair, and eventual marriage) Peckinpahs direction is spot on giving equal amounts of action, romance and plot to shine through.
One of my all time favorite, 1970's films.
