Review of The Getaway (1972) by Nat G — 24 Dec 2007
McQueen plays a bank robber whose wife makes a deal with a Texas politician to have her husband released from prison in return for a percentage from their next robbery. But when the plan goes a little wrong, the couple must escape to Mexico as fast as they can.
Not the best movie in the world but it's not dull and it is as hard as nails.
At times it is exciting, and is almost like a modern western film. Not a must see film but worthy of a watch.
