Review of The Gay Divorcee (1934) by Greg W — 07 Oct 2013
I am beginning to see the formula with these Fred Astaire ginger rogers movies, usually theres some mistaken identity between the two leads about who the other is that keeps them from romance and causes hilarity.
A lot of actors from there previous films make up the cast as well. This film gets a little grander at the end with a giant dance scene at the end. I recognized the song "night and day" from some hair product commercial.
A couple laugh out loud moments. I am still not quite sure of the meaning of the song "lets knock knees".
