Review of The Gate (1987) by Justin L — 21 Apr 2010
You can't exactly judge this movie by today's standards. As an 80's horror flick it entertains without being overly gory or even frightening. I found myself laughing when I probably shouldn't have been (all the signs of a B movie!), but if a movie's intention is to entertain, then it succeeded.
Seeing Stephen Dorff as a little kid is humorous, as are the monster minions which come to plague his home.
