Andrew Davis directs this movie with a strong sense of atmosphere and character. The chase takes the forefront of the plot without the expense of character depth and development. Its a perfectly made thriller with more depth and care than the material requires. Also, come on, that performance from Tommy Lee Jones is nothing short of astounding.
