Review of The Fugitive (1993) by Nick C — 22 Apr 2017
If we're talking about my favorite movie just to watch, hands down it would The Fugitive. This is, in my opinion, the most entertaining movie ever made. It is an action-packed, suspenseful game of cat-and-mouse that has us on the edge of our seats all the way up until the closing credits.
It is not only fun and entertaining, but intriguing and interesting as well. I don't often site performances as part of the reason for a movie being great, but here it most certainly is. It stars my two favorite actors - Harrison Ford, playing the innocent man on the run after being accused of murdering his wife, and Tommy Lee Jones, the clever, cunning U.
S. Marshall on his tail. All the while, Dr. Richard Kimble (Ford) pursues his own investigation into who really killed his wife, the infamous one-armed man. There are so many great, thrilling sequences in this movie, and it is one of the few thrillers to fully deliver on its exciting presence.
It creates an atmosphere of fun and tension, and with some of the best and most entertaining performances I've ever seen, this is no doubt one of my all time favorite movies of all time.
