Review of The Fugitive (1993) by Danny O — 25 Feb 2015
The Fugitive is the perfect chase thriller movie. It's very intense and well made. The performances by Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones are great. he movie is perfectly tense in atmosphere, and you really start to care about the wrongly convicted Kimble as he helps other while being hunted.
What appears to be a rather simple chase movie gets even better once the plot thickens and Kimble grows closer to the secret behind his wife's murder. It has some great action, intense scenes, and great direction.
Perhaps a bit clichéd and a tad overlong, this is an expertly crafted and engaging thriller. The Fugitive gets 4/5 stars (A-).
