Review of The French Connection (1971) by Michael R — 08 Apr 2010
They get away with it. ooo! That's the message anyway. I always liked this movie but the balanced forces concept is undermined by the hero being a nihilistic asshole in an attempt to show the true path many ppl lapped up leading to shitty sin city dupes and 40 yr old infantile comic book geeks thinking tarantino will make them into charles bronson badasses even though they are fat and hilarious and dressed like kevin smith tarding out over zombie video games.
